**Lesson Outline:**

- Introduce the topic by explaining that the Passover is a very important event in the Bible that shows how God saved His people, the Israelites, from Egypt.
2. **Storytelling (20 minutes)**
- Read Exodus 12:1-14 (using an accessible Bible version for children).
- Use visual aids to illustrate the key points of the story:
- The Israelites were slaves in Egypt.
- God sent Moses to tell Pharaoh to let His people go, but Pharaoh refused.
- God sent a series of plagues to Egypt.
- The final plague was the death of the firstborn sons in Egypt.
- God instructed the Israelites to sacrifice a lamb and use its blood to mark their doors so the plague would pass over their houses.
3. **Discussion (10 minutes)**
- Discuss the meaning of the Passover:
- The significance of the lamb and its blood.
- How the Israelites showed their faith and obedience by following God’s instructions.
- God's deliverance of His people from bondage.
4. **Activity (15 minutes)**
- Divide the students into small groups.
- Provide each group with chart paper and markers.
- Ask each group to draw and color a scene from the Passover story.
- Have each group explain their drawing to the class.
5. **Worksheet (5 minutes)**
- Hand out a worksheet that includes a few questions and a coloring activity related to the Passover.
